Mohan Rao is a mechanical engineering graduate with post graduation qualifications and industrial engineering and financial management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai.
He has over 36 years work experience both in manufacturing and service industries. He is currently the Vice President and Chief Risk officer for the Finance solutions business in Wipro. He is a master black belt and has spearheaded six sigma, lean and other quality initiatives in Wipro. He is the Ombudsman for a few Wipro Technologies Business Units and perhaps the longest tenure as ombudsman in Wipro.
He is also a member of Corporate Governance and Risk Council – India chapter of The Conference Board- New York and a founder member and ex Director of IFMA (Institute of Facilities Managers Association-) India chapter.
He has two daughters and is settled in Bangalore
